New York Mets and Angel Pagan agree to 1 year contract

According to Adam Rubin of the New York Daily News, outfielder Angel Pagan and the New York Mets have avoided salary arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.45 million contract. Pagan was seeking $1.8 million and the Mets were offering $1.275 million. The Mets have no more arbitration-eligible players.

Pagan, 28, hit .306 with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs in 2009 with the Mets. You can see Pagan’s contract history and statistics here.
