2/1 23:49: According to Juan C. Rodriguez of the Sun Sentinel, Gregg has received more lucrative offers from other clubs. It is believed that he is close to signing with either the Rockies or Blue Jays.

2/1 15;46: According to Joe Capozzi of The Palm Beach Post, the Florida Marlins are looking to add veteran arms to their bullpen. Two familiar faces that could fill those roles include Kevin Gregg and Kiko Calero.

A person with knowledge of the front offices dealings said today that the Marlins are looking at Gregg for the set-up role and the Leo Nunez will be the team’s closer in 2010.

Gregg, 31, was 5-6 with a 4.72 ERA and 23 saves with the Chicago Cubs in 2009.  He made $4.2 million last season. You can see Kevin Gregg’s statistics here.
