Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports that the rumored Aaron Harang trade to the Dodgers is NOT dead.

• Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reported last week that the Aaron Harang trade from the Reds to the Dodgers was “apparently all but dead”.
• The Reds want Dodger’s reliever George Sherrill and a “prospect of some merit”.
• The Reds are willing to eat nearly $10 million of Harang’s $14 million salary.
• Sherrill should earn about $4.3 million in arbitration, and may be used by the Reds as trade bait for another team willing to give up prospects.
